I think mice are really cute. But I don't want them running around my home like they own the place!!
Because Tasmania had quite a hot summer with very little rain, the mouse population grew at a much higher rate than usual. This means that many more people have had mice in their homes this season.
To stop mice from taking over your home, make sure you clean up regularly. Vacuum often and don't leave clothes laying around the floor. Most importantly, don't leave food out!! Check your cupboard to make sure everything is properly sealed and always wipe crumbs off of your benches. Mice will find even the tiniest speck of food.
You can also talk to your landlords. Tell them you have mice and they should come and put traps or bait down.
Don't let mice take over your home!!
