A different kind of helper...

There are many students at FOCUS that help us to keep going week after week. We have people helping to do things like welcome, play music, serve food and set up. But recently FOCUS has been blessed with a different kind of helper...

Meet Jake (He's the one in the middle):

Jake is a very useful helper. He lifts heavy things, cooks, gives sermons and we even caught him on the drums after last Friday Night FOCUS!!

He's not helping because he has lot's of free time or had nothing better to do. Actually he is quite busy with his family, work and being an elder at Crossroads Presbyterian. He just wants to serve and make things easier for everyone, especially Luke. And we are very thankful to have him just in time to help out when Luke's life gets a little busier, once his wife Jan has their third boy in August!!

So if you love FOCUS, you should join us in thanking God for Jake :)
